The story of Careerlution

I founded Careerlution because I’ve spent the last 5 years helping clients navigate the brutal and constantly evolving job market, and I’ve seen exactly what it takes to get noticed, get shortlisted, and get hired — without writing a single line of code.

Mission

I know what tech companies are actually looking for. I know which roles are crying out for people with your background.

And I know how to translate what you already do into the language that gets hiring managers to stop scrolling.That's not a guess because it's what I've built my career around.

 I graduated in food technology, figured out quickly it wasn’t my path, and found myself doing what so many people find overwhelming studying the job market, learning how hiring works, and trying to figure out where I fit.

That experience became the foundation for everything I do now.

"Most people don't have a skills problem. They have a positioning problem. And that's something we can fix."

Through CVlution, my tailored CV and LinkedIn service, I’ve worked with over 200 clients, helping them reframe their experience, speak the language of the industries they want to enter, and show up with the kind of clarity and confidence that gets them noticed.

Getting certified as a tech recruitment professional was about understanding tech hiring from the inside out. Combined with consulting roles at edtech organisations and my ongoing work in coaching and employability, I bring something most career coaches in tech can’t: I know how decisions get made inside tech organisations, insights in what’s happening in the market right now, what recruiters look for in the first ten seconds, and what causes a strong candidate, especially one coming from outside tech to be quietly passed over.
